Is raising a baby duck the same as raising a baby chicken?

I want a baby duck for a pet and was wondering, do you raise them the same way as you would raise a baby chick? Because i know how to care for a chick, i've had one before. Also what do you think would be a better pet? What are the pros and cons of each bird? And any tips on taking care of them? Thanks!

No baby ducks require a tad more than a chicken look up care sheets for ducks and chickens and read the difference not much but some.
